Linda Verba is Head of Service Strategy at TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank. In this role, Linda leads programs focusing on creating Customer Experience and Employee Reward and Recognition. Her expertise, dedication and approach have guided a unique corporate culture of innovation and service excellence. This foundation is embraced company-wide and as a result, each team member is poised to deliver legendary Customer experiences.
Linda is also the Chair of TD Bank’s Diversity Leadership Team, a team of senior executives driving diversity as a business imperative across TD through enterprise-wide diversity initiatives, programs, events, activities & metrics.
Prior to this role, Linda led Store Operations and Service Programs at TD Bank, and played a critical role in the strategic growth of the bank’s retail operations from 75 to more than 1,200 locations. She has overseen the front lines of TD’s retail stores, which stretch from New England to the Southeastern U.S.
Early in her career, Linda held management positions with many industry-leading companies. Her broad background includes leadership of human resources, sales and account management, call center operations, and product development. Linda credits her early retail work experiences for having built the foundation of her career.
Linda has earned recognition as one of the ‘Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking’ by American Banker (in 2010 and 2012), after being named one of the 25 ‘Women to Watch’ in 2009, 2011, and 2014.
Linda is a Member of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Summit. She is on the Board of Women’s Refugee Commission, a non-profit advocating for laws, policies and programs to improve the lives and protect the rights of refugee women and children, where she heads the Finance Committee. She is a member of the JD Power Financial Services Advisory Board and also sits on the Board of Directors for BAI & their Human Resources Committee. Linda commits her time and talent to the Girls Scouts of America and was recognized as ‘Woman of Distinction’. In 2014, Linda was also honored by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.
Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University.
