Chris Giamo is EVP, Head of Regional Commercial Bank for TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank(R). Based in Cherry Hill, NJ, and New York, Giamo has U.S. footprint-wide accountability for small business, middle market and commercial lending; government banking; treasury management services and corporate deposits; and commercial credit management.
Chris has 25 years of banking experience and has been a TD Bank senior executive for the past 18 years.
Chris joined TD Bank in 1998 as the head of its New Jersey Middle Market Lending Group in New Jersey. After successfully growing and building the local Middle Market business, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in commercial and retail banking.
Most recently, Chris served as Regional President of TD's New York Metro region, where he oversaw an aggressive de novo growth strategy that resulted in the opening of more than 250 TD Bank stores and ran day-to-day commercial and retail banking activities. In addition to his role at TD Bank, Chris also is a board member of TD Private Client Wealth, LLC.
Prior to joining the bank, Chris held positions with increasing responsibilities at Bank of New York and CoreStates Financial Corp.
Chris is a board member of Huntington Hospital and serves on the Finance, Strategic Planning and Executive committees. Chris is also a board member of Global Gateway Alliance and serves on the Cordaid U.S. Leaders Council.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in finance. Chris resides in Long Island, NY, with his wife and two sons.
